AUGENBLICK MAL! FESTIVAL STREAMS (…..)

Theater Artemis -

A show that doesn’t give a shit about its own vague title
by Theater Artemis, Künstlerhaus Mousonturm & Ruhrtriennale

From the Jury report: “…grandiose in what theatre does best — starting a subtle and virtuosic dialogue between the stage and the room, one which transcends cognitive understanding.”

Playing at the Augenblick mal! festival would be a highlight of the season. We’re thrilled that it is still happening. Right away, Augenblick mal! chose to have online presentations. We’ve filmed our show and are currently finalizing the editing.

We launch on April 16. At 5pm the festival will stream (….) in German, with English subtitles. It is followed by a live after-talk, and for whoever is interested, there is a discussion panel on April 17 from 3-4:30pm.

We hope you can join us!

HOW TO WATCH (…..) A show that doesn’t give a shit about its own vague title

– Find the darkest corner or room in your house. Close all the curtains — really blackout the room: stick some masking tape on anything that lets any light through.

– Get a nice, comfy chair — sitting up straight is good for you.

– Get the biggest screen you can find. Stick some tape on any status lights or glowing buttons. We’re talking full darkness here. Set the screen to ‘Full Screen’ and move the cursor to the edge of the screen.

– Use a headphone or speakers to get the best sound. Turn it up, nice and loud.

– Turn off all the lights and leave the room. Three minutes before it starts, come back, close the door, and quietly wait in your chair for (…..) A play that doesn’t care about having some weird title to begin.
