The animal, the animal and the little creature 8+

Many look forward to the Premiere of Jetse Batelaan’s The animal, the animal and the little creature, a musical fairy tale about an ordinary eight-year-old girl. Within a diorama filled with animals, heartstrings and good intentions, Theater Artemis transforms the mundane into a dream-like ‘musical’. A fairy tale with live songs about school counselors, badminton, and being the odd one out.

Premiere: 8 February 2020, ’s-Hertogenbosch/Verkadefabriek

Save the dates for Krokusfestival Hasselt, 24 & 25 February 2020 & Tweetakt festival Utrecht, 4 & 5 March 2020
On tour: 7 February-3 May 2020

Artemis blowing in the wind at spleen*graz

Theater Artemis -

The eight edition of the spleen*graz international festival takes you any way the wind blows. Allow yourself to deal with the eternal cycle of life, question the gravitation rules, reconcil to the incomprehensibility of war, plea for re-evaluation of things and dare to consider: “I will be everything”. Two Artemis shows are blowing in the wind.

Dresden: Whatch out!

Theater Artemis -

It was only last October that the artistic team of Hellerau European centre for Arts contacted us about Jetse’s work. They were planning on a “generational” focus for a festival in March, addressing several generations and stimulating conversations about growing up and experiences. We found a match in (…..) and are to perform this vague show at Watch out!
